The BCOM student chapter of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians will be hosting a “Mini Med School” day on Friday, March 24 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
The group hosted a similar event last semester for the Boys & Girls Club of Las Cruces featuring various stations related to OMM/Anatomy, Digestive System, Clinical Skills, Operation, and Arts and Crafts. “Without a doubt, the kids walked away from the event with a little more science knowledge, and we most certainly peaked their interest into the world of medicine,” said medical student Roy Thomas.
