Roles and Responsibilities

The Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) has the institutional oversight responsibility for work by Burrell researchers involving biohazardous agents, recombinant or synthetic nucleic acid molecules, and hazardous chemicals. Burrell is committed to providing a quality biosafety program that complies with local, State and Federal regulations and protects the health and safety of users, the college population, the community and the environment.
