Annual Safety and Security Report

Annual Safety and Security Report

The Annual Safety and Security Annual Report contains information regarding safety and security programs, policies, and procedures in place at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine. It complies with the requirements established by 20 USC 1092, also known as the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, as well as the requirements imposed by the amendments to the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).

Fire Safety Report

As part of The Jeanne Clery Act, we are required to devise and test the emergency response and notification system on our campus. We are also required to document information provided by NMSU and their fire drill safety at the residence halls where Burrell students live.  Our Annual Fire Safety Report includes main campus fire safety information and statistics from the NMSU residence halls.

Crime Reports

In addition to the Annual Safety and Security Report, Burrell utilizes an emergency notification system when there is an immediate danger or threat. Burrell posts weekly crime reports produced by New Mexico State University. Crime reports can be found below:
