As a student that has been selected as a qualified BEAR Pathway applicant we will need the following information submitted or completed for further consideration. We thank you for your interest in the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM).

Applicants can receive an interview decision from the Office of Admissions after providing the following information:

  • A completed BEAR Pathway application
  • Official transcripts from all schools attended, including medical schools
  • Official MCAT score(s)
  • An updated CV detailing all medical, non-medical, non-healthcare employment and volunteer and/or community-based experiences, including your role, the amount of hours per week dedicated to each activity, the name of your supervisor. Also include any extracurricular activities and awards you have received.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    • One letter from a physician, DO preferred.
    • Two letters from core science professors

    • a. New Mexico
    • b. El Paso, TX
    • c. Southern Arizona
    • d. A Federally Recognized Tribal Nation Reservation/Jurisdictional Area
    • e. Chihuahua, Mexico
